Braden's Angels

Out of the mouth of babes, from the crayons of children come some of the most inspiring and simple guideposts of life. Once in a while, everyone should look and listen to what kids are telling us.
Braden, Jodi's son, recently unveiled this creation. Why did he draw angels with wings flying in the sky? God told him to.
Sweet and child-like in his inspiration and obedience, Braden gave the world a gift for today. He didn't have an agenda or compelling purpose, he merely gave what he had for today. What gift have you presented to someone today?
Thanks, Braden for your very special gift on the wings of angels today!

A smile, a kind word, a helping hand, a gift of craft, or word, or deed could make someone's day. Why not?

PS: Save The Children could use your help today if you have a few bucks. 12.5 million are afflicted in the Horn of Africa today.

Colliding Galaxies. Exclamation Point

Recent composite pictures released by NASA et al give us a strikingly clear view into the business of the universe. Two galaxies began the process of collision over 10 million years ago, and we are just witnessing it now in real time. The photo depictions from our angle appear to indicate something similar to an exclamation point.
Could this be a response or commentary of the universe to the colliding galaxies of ideas and opinions here on planet Earth? After all, we are behaving badly lately, and it would be no surprise to find that our boorish behavior elicits shocked responses from other worlds looking on. Humanity these days is a motley crew, with our bickering, destructive ways, arrogance, ignorance, and bloodshed.

Will we take the hint from our neighbor galaxies' signal and examine ourselves through the eyes of the universe. If we are watching them, they could certainly be observing us, and most probably if there is intelligence, with a smirk of derision. Let's get with the program and wise up. Any day will do.
