Tribute to Sir Isaac Newton

Sir Isaac Newton (25 Dec 1642 - 20 Mar 1727) was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and theologian. Among other things, he invented or contributed to the telescope, thinking on the prism and its ability to distinguish white light into the visible color spectrum, universal gravitation, the three laws of motion, differential and integral calculus (in conjunction with Gottfried Liebniz), generalized binomial theorem, power series study, and theological studies for which he feared religious persecution.

Many attribute to Newton the line, "I have stood upon the shoulders of giants..."

Today, I recognize Newton's contributions to the benefit of mankind, and humbly request that if we stand on the shoulders of giants, that we not kick them in the head. Learn something today, and use it for the good of all.
