Occupy Pittsburgh Saturday 10/15/2011

Today at the Occupy Pittsburgh march and rallies, we heard poetry, rappers, speakers from lawyer groups, unions, public service, nurses, students, folk singers, political activists, anons in masks, 1% representatives who support the 99%, feminists, a sociologist, historians, people with signs, people with megaphones, and many more. We saw old, young, black, white, yellow, brown, disabled, strong, clergy, men in suits, hipsters, hippies, guys from the 'hood, couples, singles, funny, serious, happy, mad, all together in solidarity to support the Occupy Wall Street movement. It is true democracy at its finest, in action. this is the best of America, right here in the 'burgh.
