I called the Chicago mayor's office twice. 1st time was put on hold, and second time got through. they took my name and phone number and nature of my complaint (respectfully requested 1st amendment rights for the protesters), and said that they would pass the note on to the mayor.
Even during the arrests, the people sang and chanted, "1. We are the people 2. the people are united 3. the occupation is not leaving" the entire time.
