CorpWatch : What is Neoliberalism?
It is not liberal or progressive, nor is it what the Democrats seek to pursue with economic policy. Neoliberalism is the Adam Smith, laissez-faire economic philosophy of the free-market capitalism that got us into this mess. The nomenclature is deceptive, because in reality neoliberalism is closer to libertarian Austrian "conservative" economic positions in the US.
