How many degrees, certifications, licenses do you have? I have quite a collection myself, for which I paid dearly in time and money. Like badges on my sash, they may gratify the ego, and open some doors, but mostly: not so much.
The field these days is ripe for profiteers eager to sell you the necessary program and effort and paperwork to obtain your prize. The Golden Ticket. It comes with a complimentary mountain of debt, and no guarantees. And what happens when you need or want to switch career paths in these changing times? More of the same, rinse and repeat.
How do the costs and benefits of our collective need to see the papers play out in our economy today?
