The modern day Pharisees and Sadducees have had enough of his peace, love, charity, kindness, goodness, mercy, joy, and wandering around doing good.
No more loaves and fishes for the masses now. Forget about healing the sick and helping the guy by the side of the road. They're on their own from here on out with the new right wing Ayn Rand version of our old friend Jesus.
It must have been too tough for conservatives to follow the old liberal Jesus.
